Dr. Lorefice is a Board Certified Psychiatrist.   He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Lorefice has been on the faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the New York Medical College. He is the recipient of The American Psychiatric Association’s Award for Medical Student Teaching. Dr. Lorefice has been selected to be in the publication Top Doctors: New York Metro Area each year since 1996. He has been chosen to be in the book Best Doctors In America, Northeast Edition and is included in Who’s Who In America. Dr. Lorefice received his: Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from the Johns Hopkins University M.D. from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health He completed his Psychiatric Residency Training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School
